>> ^Winstonfield_Pennypacker: Ah - yes - the fine art of propoganda. The left's well-thought out and intellectual criticism of Palin to date so far consists of "I hate her because she's stuuuuupid!" And this fine, rational, argument from such elegant, politically interested persons is now being elaborated to include the ever-so fair message of, "And if you like Palin, then you're stuuuuupid!"
Yawn. I think Palin has a way to go before she's a serious candidate. I'm not sure if she'll ever get there really because she just may be one of those people who can't bridge the gap between local and national politics. But the left's propoganda? Pht - idiotic bilge for idiotic people.
Penn & Teller's show proves that if you've got a camera and some time that you can find the lunatic fringe of any group. I dismiss this vid as an an example of focusing on the outliers and trying to portray them as the majority.
Oh I hope she won't be able to bridge the gap. That's what the gap is for. To keep underqualified people on the local side where they can't screw up as bad. You probably know that better than anyone, but you decide to argue for Palin simply to spite the leftists on this site. Just like all the simple fools in the video, you're caught up in partisan bullshit and can't see past red vs. blue.
You're republican, I get it. You're most likely well off, middle to upperclass, and want to keep it that way. Working class problems don't concern you. The healthcare reform was redundant in your eyes, since all the important people can afford first class medical attention anyways, right?
To be honest, I don't really see the need to rip into mormonism this much. The bible is just as far fetched imo and just because it's older doesn't make it any more believable. Personally, I don't judge people by their beliefs. I judge them by their actions.
Having said that, I would hold it against mormons if it actually is a fact that 50% of the funding for the pro Prop 8 campaign came from the Mormon church.
You can't have your cake and eat it too. If you want to watch quality (original) content without paying for it you should be able to settle with watching one ad before or after it.
I voted "delete", simply because I feel there are way too many channels already, and chances are it's gonna get worse.
I remember when I started submitting videos how annoying it was to select the channels from that giant wall of checkboxes. Part of the channel names were too vague to me to even know what they're about. Overcast is on the right track here, but this problem will never get enough attention for one simple reason:
The people who are discussing it have almost without exception all posted 50+ videos, and therefore by now know what channels they want to assign their video to before they even look at the checkbox wall.
Another problem is finding a solution that is acceptable. Personally, I like the grouping idea, since, for example, nobody is going to select "Islam" without selecting "Religion". Also, some channels are just too vague or overlap others, but deleting or merging them is not exactly fair to some people either, and some take it way to serious and personal (thank you choggie for demonstrating that).
The better quality version is region blocked for me, while the cammed version is not. And OMG what's wrong with those soccer women? I thought women's soccer is supposed to be more technical and less physical.
